Mist gathers between piano and synthesiser on Rewilding the Mind, Andres Alborok‘s EP built from field recordings collected on rainy walks through the sierras near his home in Argentina. Gentle piano lines recede to let rich synth pads take the lead, evoking mist settling over water and moss. Trickling streams, soft rainfall, and faint birdsong weave through the five tracks, lending each piece a quiet sense of expectation. Rather than framing nature as backdrop, Alborok lets the environment shape the music itself, crafting a meditative, unhurried atmosphere of stillness and slow regeneration.
